Publications

The environmental education and awareness raising programme of the Society is supported by production and distribution of a range of thematic environmental publications. The publications include Amharic Readers, periodic newsletters, bulletins, journals, fact sheets, brochures and posters that are distributed to the public, governmental and non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, decision makers, researchers writers, members of the Society, patrons and members of school environment clubs.

The Publications :-

•  Aim at the creation of awareness in conservation issues.

•  Enabled their readers to look into different facets of conserving the country's biodiversity resources.

•  Provide adequate information about the fragility of the country's environment  and its threats

•  Urge their readers to take part in the conservation measures, the pressing need.

•  Are used as supplementary reading materials in schools.

•  Draw the attention of their readers to various research findings of the fauna and flora of Ethiopia .
